At 0144 hrs. the Holbrook Fire Department was activated for a reported residential structure fire at 74 Glen Summer Road in the Parkland Development. First arriving Chief Apostle had visible smoke inside the structure and ordered Holbrook Engine 6 to stretch. an Aggressive interior attack was made keeping the fire contained to a single bedroom in the rear of the house thanks to the bedroom door being shut. Mutual aid from the Sayville Fire Department and Holtsville Fire Department assisted members on scene. The alarm was brought under control at 0234 hrs. Suffolk County Fire Marshal responded and is investigating.
