On April 26th, 2014, Holbrook FD was activated for a reported Vehicle Fire on St. James Street, off of Grundy Avenue. Asst. Chief Timo was the first on scene and confirmed a working vehicle against a property fence that was threatening additional vehicles. Engine 6's crew stretched a line and quickly knocked down the fire while Engine 4 supplied additional water.
