At 1750 on July 11, Holbook was activated for a motor vehicle accident on Veterans Highway at Lincoln Ave. While Chief Stack was enroute he was notified that numerous calls were being received that several vehicles were involved. An east bound driver lost control of his vehicle striking three others and crossing into the westbound lanes at the intersection striking five others which were stopped in traffic, including an occupied taxi. Four patients were transported to local area hospitals with assistance from Emergency Ambul;ance Service and Community Ambulance.
