On January 15, 2013 at approximatly 1215 hrs. Holbrook was activated for a motor vehicle accident northbound on CR97 at Patchogue Holbrook Road. While Chief Pendl was enroute he was informed that PD on scene requested Suffolk Police Emergency Services and information transmitted was an overturn into the woods with entrapment. Upon arrival at scene it was confirmed that the vehicle had one occupant and aid was being administered by a Farmingville medic who was at scene. A joint effort ensued on the extrication between Holbrook FD, Farmingville FD, and Suffolk ESU. Extrication involved the stabilization of the vehicle and the removal of the entire roof from the vehicle. Patient was transported to university Hospital with non life threatning injuries.
