At approximatly 1235 hrs Holbrook was activated for a motor vehicle accident northbound on Nicolls Road. A female operator was distracted and struck the rear of a tractor trailer which was stopped in traffic nearing a construction zone. The force of the impact had torn the roof from the car and completely caved in the passenger side of the auto. The operator miraculosly suffered only minor injuries and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital
