Gerard P. Schrang Memorial Tree

Under the direction of new District Manager Pete DiPrima the district employees did some spring clean up and landscaping design around the Gerard P. Schrang Memorial Tree. The tree was planted 8 years ago in memory of Ex-Chief Schrang who died in the line of duty responding with FDNY Rescue 3, to the WTC attack on 9-11-01. They dug out a maltese shape around the tree, and a pathway leading up to it. Then inserted a boarder and filled it with mulch. The project came out great, and it compliments the memorial tree.
