This weekend the Holbrook Fire Department honors our fallen soldiers, and passed on members of the department. The weekend began early on Saturday May 28th with our annual grave visitations. Three groups of our members spread out around Long Island, and visited the graves of all our passed on members. On Monday May 30th 2011 We began the morning by marching in Sayville's Memorial Day parade, followed by Holbrook's parade, and memorial service. Soon after we hosted our 84th annual Memorial Day services at our headquarters for our passed on firefighters, EMS, and members of the Ladies Auxiliary.
