On 06-02-2023 at 2210 hrs. Holbrook was activated for a residential structure fire. The 911 call had been placed by a neighbor who had observed the fire from their own yard. Upon Chiefs arrival a working fire was transmitted and mutual aid plan was activated. Attack lines were deployed but due to the occupants not being home, the advancement of the fire had made the probability of a roof collapse imminent and a defensive master was set up. After a quick knock down on the main body of fire, aggressive interior lines were advanced to limit the growth of the fire. Crews battled the fire for approximately 90 minutes with no injuries reported. The cause of alarm is under investigation by the SCPD Arson Squad.
