Motor Vehicle Accident w/ Trapped Occupants

On Tuesday, July 21st at approx. 18:09hrs, Holbrook FD was activated for a reported 16-23-Motor Vehicle Accident with reports of occupants trapped inside. Within moments of activation, Assistant Chief Heinssen responded, receiving additional information that this was a 3-Car crash, involving a large truck on top of a smaller vehicle. HQ Lieutenant J. Stahl was first on scene to confirm all information and begin providing aid. Rescue 7 & Engine 5 quickly arrived on scene to begin extrication efforts & securing all vehicles involved. Due to the extent of injury, once the trapped occupant was removed, they were transported by SCPD Aviation to an area hospital for treatment.

At approximately 18:32hrs, Chief Stack placed a Signal 4-Under Control on the alarm once all patients were transported by Holbrook EMS 16 & 18. All units were released accordingly once all tools & equipment were placed back in service.
