Karen devoted her life to helping others, beginning with her Husband Rob and their two precious children Zachary and Courtney. She was a great Mother and a dedicated, and caring medical provider. Karen served as a volunteer with our Holbrook Department, and as a career professional with North Patchogue, Lakeland , Holtsville and Sound Beach Fire Districts. A skilled EMT-CC, Karen touched the lives of thousands of Long Islanders, many of whom she never knew. There are many with us today because of Karen's service and we will be forever thankful for the contributions she made to our Community. As a lasting tribute to Karen's remarkable involvement here in Holbrook, we dedicated our newest ambulance, 3-15-15, to her lasting memory. Although we miss her dearly, we remember and cherish her selfless devotion and celebrate the life she lived. May her eternal spirit continue to touch and watch over us, and help save the lives of all who are transported in this vehicle.
