On 01-08-2014 at approximately 1515 hrs. Holbrook was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Lincoln Ave between Veterans Highway and Church Street. As Chief Heinssen was en-route dispatch informed him that Suffolk Sherriff's were at scene and requested Heavy Rescue for a female driver pinned due to the drivers door impact. Several Holbrook units were out on three previous alarms which were still in progress as of this activation. The driver was extracted with the use of tools from Rescue 7, Engine 2 and SCPD assistance. Driver stabilized and transported to Brookhaven Hospital with non-life threating injuries.
