Working Structure Fire

On Thursday, July 28th at approximately 18:30hrs, the Holbrook FD was activated for a reported Signal 13-Structure Fire on Muriel Street. Asst. Chief Heinssen was the first to respond, learning that the 911 call came from a neighbor reporting the side of a building on fire. Engine 6 out of headquarters was immediately on the road with a full crew.

Upon arrival, Chief Heinssen had heavy fire coming from the second floor and order a reactivation of a Signal 13-35: Working Structure Fire. Engine 6 arrived, stretching hose lines and began an aggressive attack. Truck 10 arrived next, stretching an additional handline and beginning master stream operations.

at 19:22hrs, Chief Heinssen transmitted a Signal 4-Under Control as all fire was knocked down, primary & secondary searches were performed & overhaul completed. All units & Mutual Aides were released accordingly upon completion of repacking their vehicles.
