On Monday 3/14/16 at 1342 hrs. Holbrook was activated for a structure fire at 1327 Grundy Ave where homeowner stated that her rear room was on fire. Upon arrival of first units a working fire was transmitted and the automatic mutual aid plan was activated. Engine 6 was first due followed by Truck 10, Engine 1 and Engine 2. Sayville responded with a Truck to the scene, Bohemia responded with an engine to the scene and Holtsville was the standby crew at headquarters with Community Ambulance. Assistant Chief Heinssen was I.C. and secured the scene at 1610 hrs. after arrival of requested Fire Marshal.
