On Sunday, March 1st, 2015, at approximately 23:03hrs, Holbrook FD was activated for 1 engine to respond to the Ronkonkoma Fire District for a working residential structure fire. Minutes later, Asst. Chief Heinnsen and Engine 6 out of Headquarters answered the call. Due to poor weather conditions, heavy fire overtook the house, and all units were reassigned to exterior operations. E-6's crew was assigned to the rear of the structure to check for fire extension and to perform overhaul.

By 00:23hrs, RFD Command Placed a Signal 4-Under Control on the alarm. After assisting with repacking of all vehicles, E-6's crew was released and returned to Holbrook.
